EMPATHY

Empathy is important for the design process, but we can’t forget to be empathetic to users when designing a space. Codes and budgets can be constraining and often we feel forced to offer the bare minimum. I like to challenge myself to think outside the box to achieve spaces that are equitable beyond the code and offer dignity to users.
